Never thought I’d see this…

Steve Clark, super minister, part of the A-Team of Doug Ford, quits over a scandal. A scandal of a billion proportions: eight billion to be exact.
Clark was tapped to take over the PC Party when/if Ford decides to stop denying he wants to be Premier of Toronto and run for that job again – quitting his role of premier of the whole province. Now Clark’s career is in temporary tatters. Don’t fear for Clark, he’ll be back. But I think the chances of him succeeding Ford are now over.
Agreed that he appeared to be next in line, and that that is unlikely to happen now. Purely from a competence perspective, he really seemed like the best candidate among the current PC MPPs. On a positive note maybe this will elevate the needs of SDSG, that always fell behind LG.
