Creative marketing 101

Years ago I worked for a group of radio stations. This was before the Great Recession really gutted the advertising world for traditional media. I worked with some great people at the stations, creative-types who liked to also have fun – and it showed in their work.

The morning show for the rock station was hosted by John Bolton, with Jamie Carr co-hosting. In a push to shop local in Canada, and challenge the American “Black Friday” marketing, they did a shop local spoof of the classic WKRP Turkey Drop episode. I am not a fan of parodies, but this is the exception.
