I don't know if you're aware that the Nova Scotia Premier recently eliminated Communications Nova Scotia. I'd love to get your take on that. Personally, I'm not a fan of our Conservative Premier. The former Liberal Premier (Ian Rankin) was very pro-active about Covid while he was in power, for one thing, which immediately flipped almost completely when the current guy took the reins. People belly-ached about Rankin when he was our leader. Much like Trudeau at the federal level. I suspect we'll soon appreciate him more in retrospect, the classic "Too little, too late." I've never voted Conservative in my life, so my bias may be showing. That said, the differences between our main three political parties seem to have eroded a great deal in the roughly five decades I've been of voting age. More's the pity.

I am not familiar with Nova Scotia's changes as I am based in Ontario. That said, having no communications is worse than gatekeepers. There is a role for communications, but not having them or having gatekeepers mirrors our current political strife of being either farther left, or farther right.
